FFA Week & Schedule

At Wangler Hardware, we work closely with the local FFA. This week is FFA Week at Fort Recovery Schools, and they have several competitions later this month. Here is the schedule for the rest of the week and for the competitions:

Feb.18th: Community Breakfast & Truck Drive-in

Feb. 19th: Elementary Petting Zoo & Food for America

Feb. 20th: Ag Olympics!

Feb. 24th: FFA Contest in the Commons

March 6 & 7: State Evaluations

March 14th: Miami Trace FFA Contest

March 21st: Mercer County FFA Contest

Faux Painting Event: Success!

Last night I learned how to make my wall into a masterpiece. We had Angie Clark come in and demonstrate paint techniques and show customers how they can us the same techniques to DIY. It was a hit, and we discussed a lot of creative ideas. People brought in photos of their homes and colors they wanted to try, and the Wangler staff helped choose the right paint & tools for the job.

We will definitely be scheduling another one of these events, as we got some very positive feedback. If you missed it, no worries -- just stop in the hardware store and we'll give you the one-on-one version. We will help make your home gorgeous!
